I find New Year’s Resolutions to be frivolous because many people shoot for the stars but land back where they started.  They don’t provide anything to help the human condition.

I’m gonna use this topic to explain this war to you and my position on everything that America has done and everything that America shoud continue to do. There are several things essential for the United States to do to end this war with the speed and efficiency demanded by her citizens. I back and pray for the president whenever I watch the bloodied and desctructive reports of CNN. I sit back and think of how these reports glorify the enemy push to disolve our resolve as a people. THe fact is that the troops as of June 22nd 2006 have been dying at the rate 0f 1.8 per day compared to a wopping 300 a day in World War II. In World War II citizens were called to give their resources, sons, and some freedoms. In this war we have to give some of our freedoms and our sons who decide to give the ultimate price for our freedoms. We are not called to ration or called to give our lives through a draft and we have such an issue with this war. War is never good and should be taken very seriously but this is a very different sort of war. We are fighting certain civilians that aren’t weating uniforms or gathering to our knowledge. WE need to encourage our troops through the internet, our television, and our radio programs. It angers me when the media tears away at the war and President Bush. This kind of Bush-Bashing is hurting our troops. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but there is a fine line between hurting our troops and helping the track of the war.

Here is my constructive critism for President Bush. End It. We have enough weapons to beat the tar out of these insurgencies. I say impose a strict cerfew, and tell all civilians that if they are caught with weapons on the streets or devices of possible detruction inside there homes that the will either be shot on the spot, arrested, or strictly fined. I don’t like doing this but infortunately our current course is causing this war to drag on. The most painful example of this is the imphamous Pennalton Eight. These young gentlemen reportedly violated the human rights and Geneva convention standards of a few Iraqis and are facing a death penalty. Do you think we got anywhere with the Germans and Japanese by giving them daisies and hoping they wouldn’t kill us? No. We fought to the death and when they didn’t listen the bombers would go off and bomb them. No questions, no arrests, no trials for misconduct or human rights violations. Our enemies do not understand the Geneva convention but they do understand the words of Muhammed who carved an empire out of the middle east using the motto “Submit to Islam or be killed.” His follows killed their men, raped their women, and sold their children into slavery. That was it.

There are many things we need to do in Iraq and there is no single solution but I think if we pull out it would be disaterous. Many anylysts say that it would become a mini Iran but I would beg to differ. THere would never be peace until a leader and international thug like Sadam would come back into power. Sadam may have been sadistic and evil but he did know how to keep the Sunni’s and Shiites’s and Kurd’s together with an Iron Fist. Iran wouldn’t be able to keep this huge group of hostile people from tearing each other to shreads.

I would encourage all of you out there in cyberspace to pray to whatever God you worship because the end of days is coming. This is a good day for Westerners forever but a day that may be revered as the day that we started to grind to a national halt

I would encourage anyone who is a christian to get involved with a small group. Its  really important to have a close group of friends to rely on no matter the size of your church.
